The wait is finally over. Motorola finally launched the Motorola DEXT on Orange on October 7.
Motorola DEXT is the first Motorola Android Phone, which is an operating system for mobile phones. Motorola DEXT is equipped with one of the latest technologies in the industry. Motorola DEXT features a new user interface developed by Motorola called the MotoBlur, which allows you to stay connected to the activity around you on the net, as it allows you to receive your emails and updates on your social networking circles online, such as Facebook and Twitter, in a single feed with the help of the Android platform.
With the undeniable need of our times to stay in touch with your online social life even when you are on the move, products like Motorola DEXT can really make life easy for you. Furthermore, MotoBlur offers a secure backup server, which means that you are safe from the risk of losing your data. With all your online social networking combined in one feed, the feature can surely give the phone an edge over its competitors since this technology has appeared on very few other phones other than the Motorola DEXT. With the MotoBlur feature, you can find it easier to connect to your online social networking and email accounts than ever before.
Apart from that, Motorola DEXT features a 3.1 inch screen with a HVGA resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. The phone also comes with a 5 mega pixel camera and an HTML web browser with flash player support.
The Motorola DEXT is all set to revolutionize the world of telecommunications forever, and you have the chance to become one of the pioneering users of the Android operating system platform and the MotoBlur feature. Orange is offering Motorola DEXT in the UK for £34.26 on a 24 month contract.

The Motorola DEXT is the new kid on the block, coming from the labs of Motorola. It runs on the Google Android OS, which is enough of a reason for you to buy the DEXT. The user interface used in the phone is the MOTOBLUR user interface.
The MOTOBLUR UI really combines well with the Android OS because you are able to access a number of features which include feeds, contacts, photos, emails, messages, social network and the likes from your homescreen itself with the use of widgets. All the messages that you get from your social network accounts can be set to come into one inbox, thereby making it easy for you to view these messages. Your status can also be updated on the social networks from your home screen itself.
Moving from the social networks, the presence of Android 1.5 ensures that your phone comes with a number of google – related apps. The phone comes in a slider form factor with a touchscreen, which is 3.1 inches in length and has a resolution of 320×480 pixels. The full QWERTY keyboard, located under the screen, is an absolute delight.
The phone comes armed with a 5 megapixel camera which has geo-tagging, auto – focus and picture editing. The camera doesn’t really disappoint, but isn’t exactly top – class.
As far as the physical dimensions are concerned, the phone is fairly slim at 15.6 mm when you consider the fact that it is a slider. However, it is fairly heavy at 163 grams and may feel uncomfortable in your pocket. The phone has support for 3G networks as well as Wi-Fi and EDGE internet. The phone’s music player supports songs in the AAC, MP3, AAC+ and AAC+ Enhanced, MIDI, AMR and WAV songs. The phone has a microUSB 2.0 port as well as a 3.5 mm headset jack.
Motorola DEXT Reviews have been good so far, so make sure you have your cash ready when it arrives in October, when it will be released on many Motorola DEXT contracts.
